38th Annual Tomato Fest

The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will host the 38th Annual Tomato Fest, Saturday, June 11, 2022 

For one week June 6th thru 12th, Jacksonville becomes "Tomatoville"! Proclamation is 2pm June 6th at the City Hall

June 11th - 8 am - 3 pm - 36th Annual Tomato  Fest - Commerce Street, Downtown Jacksonville, Texas - Five blocks of Vendors, Food, Farmer's Market, Fried Green Tomatoes, Tomato Eating Contest (celebrity and kids), Tomato Peeling Contest (peel a tomato with your teeth), Tomato Packing Contest, Salsa Contest, Best Homegrown Contest, Live Entertainment, Talent Show, Car Show, Motorcycle Show, Soccer Tournament, Tennis Tournament, History Display, Top Tomato Poster Contest and much more.

June 11th - 7-11 pm - Chili's Grill & Bar 16th Annual Street Dance - Jenn Ford & the Red Dirt Ritas will perform 

The most popular event of Tomato Fest is the fresh tomatoes! People will drive hours just to get Jacksonville tomatoes. The Tomato Eating Contest is a highlight, as we have our local celebrities fight to be the champion tomato eater.
