Jacksonville Leadership Institute 2014-2015

What is Jacksonville Leadership Institute?

Jacksonville Leadership Institute is a program through the Jacksonville, Texas Chamber of Commerce. A new class is formed each September. About 15 students are chosen through an application process. Each student is sponsored by their company or organization. Students are from various companies and organizations around the community - banks, insurance agencies, schools, law firms, restaurants, self-employed persons, and many more - all have sent students through this program. A different topic is studied each month (Education, Tourism, History, Industries, State & Local Government, etc.) and students tour many different places and meet people to learn about these areas. It is a one of a kind way to learn about the "behind the scenes" of our community. Students see and learn things they would otherwise never have the opportunity to see or learn.

The mission of Leadership Jacksonville Institute is to educate and encourage current and future leaders of our community.
